Grafotronic has announced another successful collaboration with Domino, combining Domino’s advanced printing technology – including a Lake Image inspection system – with Grafotronic’s finishing solutions to enhance the production of luxury labels at LP2i Étiquettes in France.

The hybrid production line designed for LP2i integrates state-of-the-art technologies, including glue-side inkjet printing, semi-rotary cold foil, and highly efficient semi-rotary diecutting with a non-stop buffer system for continuous operation.

This successful partnership is built on the shared vision of LP2i, Grafotronic and Domino, which focuses on delivering innovation, high productivity, and excellent customer support. Additionally, LP2i has invested in an off-line Grafotronic finishing machine designed to produce multi-layer labels using in-register lamination and the Revolver Hot Foil Module.

The Revolver Hot Foil Module offers enhanced performance, delivering premium foiling, embossing, and speed capabilities while incorporating a revolving foil feeding system for versatile embellishment options. This independent printing step operates separately from other unit settings, with advanced electronic pressure control enabling precise adjustments for consistent quality. The automatic initial setup pressure function ensures faster job changeovers, minimizing material waste and downtime.
